The truth is beautiful
it can kill your hopes
for a while
it can make you doubt
about your perception
but still it is beautiful.
The truth is a blessing
that showers you
with compassion and strength.
You don’t feel these
in the moment
but you will get them
as soon as you can accept them.
The truth is friendly
because you have been
denying the true sight of things,
unaware of a self-sabotaging pattern
that successfully leads you nowhere.
The truth will always
find you
when you are ready
when you can say “I am done with this.”
The truth will save you
if you have the courage
to accept it.
