I will transform
moments into eternities
metaphysical jumps
to renew and reveal myself.
It’s a game of chess
the Queen can only move
in certain ways.
Be careful with the King.
Our army is protecting us
but we really just need
to love ourselves.
No one can really protect us
from ourselves.
Are we our enemies or best allies?

THE STREET THAT WARRIORS TAKE

I keep thinking the same thought
You are on your way
the street that warriors take
going back home
after a battle of a thousand years.
Keeping the horse on a side
drinking bittersweet memories
focusing on one step at a time
going home
finding your way to me
once again.
