IT IS TRUE

It is true that
we often fight
within ourselves
with thoughts that lead nowhere.

It is true that
I have no evidence
that could prove
your feelings.

In this context
of unlimited questions
and ongoing doubts
I decide to look within me.

What do I know?
How do I feel about it?
What are these walls safeguarding?
Why do I need protection?

It is telling
what we owe to ourselves
we often think the opposite
of our wishes.

It’s like a path with secret wholes
at some point you will fall.

In a perfect plan
I would do certain things
I would face my craves
I would speak freely.

If it is a perfect plan
the fact that I don’t know
the fact that I don’t act
perhaps it’s meant to be this way.
