In my Pandora’s box
all different shapes of pain
that cut your fingers.
You want to join my ways
we can be together
in a place where
we are no one
where we have nothing left
but our desire
to be free
to be still,
to be together.

REASONS DON’T MATTER

Reasons don’t matter
at the heart of each issue
there is a feeling
that cries out
to be heard.
Reasons don’t matter
we just have to listen
to our needs
to our dreams
to our unspoken wishes.

A DISTANT PLACE OF JOY

Enriched by landscapes
of potential happiness,
I smile thinking I could
just open an inner window
the air would bring me back to
a distant place of joy.
